Resumo: Traceability is a tool that belongs to the analyst (a Human being) used to find analytical mistakes, reduce analysis time, to evaluate the reagents action, and so on. Traceability is a very important aspect of the whole analysis and should not be transformed into a tool against the result, the production and the Institution. The main goal of this paper is to show that Traceability has to exist but it should not achieve the extremes of the rational as well as the confidence.
