Resumo: The 42nd International Symposium on Capillary Chromatography and 15th GCxGC  Symposiumis recognized as one of the most relevant forum for the discussion of the chromatographic and allied techniques and one of the oldest meetings on the subject worldwide. In addition to the Plenary Lectures delivered by recognized specialists in their field, the meeting gives also an important  opportunity to young scientists to present their work as keynote lectures. In parallel with the scientific aspects of the meeting an important Exhibition session displaying equipment, accessories, printed literature, movies/videos and other formats brings to delegates the latest information on the area. In addition, a successful Poster session is presented along the meeting involving many fundamental works as well as application in different areas. In the present report, the author presents the main features of the most recent version of the meeting.
