Extração de pesticidas em amostras de alimentos através de sorção em ponteiras descartáveis

Resumo: Ao longo dos anos, o mercado agrícola tornou-se cada vez mais competitivo, e a busca por aumento da produção, qualidade, e controle de pragas faz com que haja uma crescente necessidade do uso de pesticidas. A toxicidade dessas substâncias e potenciais riscos a saúde geram uma constante cobrança da sociedade quanto à presença de resíduos de pesticidas em alimentos. Técnicas cromatográficas são largamente empregadas na identificação e quantificação dessas substâncias. Por estarem presentes em matrizes complexas e em baixas concentrações, o preparo de amostra torna-se fundamental para adequação dos analitos para a análise instrumental.
Técnicas miniaturizadas baseadas em fases extratoras estão sendo cada vez mais empregadas, por proporcionarem alto rendimento e reduzirem a quantidade de solvente, amostra e tempo consumido. Dentre as técnicas mais recentes, destaca-se a extração em ponteira descartável (DPX), a qual emprega material sorvente contido em ponteiras de pipeta para extração e concentração dos analitos presentes na matriz.
O presente trabalho apresenta uma revisão sobre os fundamentos da técnica DPX e suas recentes aplicações na área de pesticidas em matrizes alimentares.
