Resumo: In this study, the cloud point extraction (CPE) was investigated for the extraction of four triazines herbicides (atrazine, simazine, ametryne and prometryne), and for the two main degradation products of atrazine (deethylatrazine and deisopropylatrazine). The best extraction conditions were: concentration of surfactant agent (Triton X-114) of 2.50 % (w/v), concentration of NaCl of 3.00 (w/v), temperature of 30 ºC and equilibrium time of 20 min. The method provided limit of detection between 1.1 e 3.2 μg L-1 and linear range from 10.0 to 500 μg L-1 using the technique of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and employed for well and river water samples from the agricultural region of southwest of Paraná state. A recovery study was carried out with herbicides concentrations of 10.0, 25.0 and 100 μg L-1 with results between 31 e 127 %, and tendency of lower recovery percent, probably owing to the more polar characteristics of the class of triazines herbicides.
